The blog's title is a play on words. According to Google Translate, "articulatio", in Latin, translates to "jointed structure" in English, or "structure articulée" in the French. In reality, it was merely meant to stand for "articulation", which was not available; neither was "articulus" for that matter - which in Latin is said to mean "(of time) a moment, crisis."

In these talks, and during the classes too - for the Feldenkrais teacher guides us through a series of movements by giving us verbal "pointers" - he, the teacher, would often talk about "articulations", which is the French term for "joints" (My Feldenkrais classes were in French though the term "articulations" can also have been used were they taught in English).
To make a point, I will quote a definition from Wikipedia on the subject of "joints" (see: Joint):
"A joint is the location at which two or more bones make contact. They are constructed to allow movement and provide mechanical support, and are classified structurally and functionally."This, therefore, is one of the interpretations for me of the title of this blog: Something allowing movement and providing support. This different definitions of the word "articulation" are why I chose to name my blog "Articulatio", for they all form different facets of what I want the main theme of this blog to be. "Articulatio" is a blog which tries to express ideas in their most concise form: Articulation. It aims to take badly understood or badly posed concepts/problems and find a more esteemed formulation. As a blog, it gives voice to ideas, mostly to my ideas, and in it I will aim to get the wording and the phrasing of every statement or utterance "exactly right".

Suffice to say, my comment on Facebook sparked a long discussion/thread that was full of little gems, veritable pearls of wisdom, and served as a great source of inspiration and satisfaction for me. The conversation helped me realize that I could do much better as an author: I would start a blog where I could take all my previous blog posts and rewrite them. I would strive, however, to articulate the ideas better when I rewrite them. As a direct consequence, "Articulatio", this very blog, was born.
Welcome to this "articulation", this "jointed structure", this place where "Concepts Through Movement" in the personal philosophy and art of The Antiface Cloud will finally have their resting-place. Where words meet the page, now and forever, there is a process more than any other which contributes most effectively to the readability and feasibility of human meaning-extraction. IT IS ARTICULATION.
